Hi, I'm Meggie — the maker behind Lone Elm Creations.

Every piece you find here — from hand-poured candles to one-of-a-kind jewelry and thoughtfully crafted home decor — was made by my own two hands in my home studio. From the moment I roll a bead of polymer clay to the final pour of a candle, I put care into every detail. No factories. No shortcuts. Just slow, intentional making.

Where it all began

The name Lone Elm carries deep roots in my family. It began as my great grandfather's dairy farm in upstate New York, then became my father's beef farm. When it came time for me to carry on the legacy here in Kentucky, I knew I wanted to honor that heritage while making it my own.

I transformed Lone Elm into a celebration of nature and handcrafted items, pouring my passion for botanical beauty and artisanal creation into every piece. Each candle, each piece of jewelry, each home decor item is made with intention, connecting you to the same love of the natural world that's guided my family for generations.

The materials I work with

I source natural crystals and gemstones chosen for their beauty and energy, and pair them with hand-formed polymer clay in warm, earthy palettes. I also work with dried and preserved natural botanicals — pressed flowers, herbs, and botanicals that bring an organic, living quality to my pieces. My candles are hand-poured and often accented with botanicals and fragrance to bring the beauty of nature right into your home. Every material — across every product — is chosen with care, and every piece is one of a kind.
